I have had lots of starts and stops in terms of this journey. However, one thing has always been constant. When I plan my meals and my workouts ahead of time, I am far more successful. Now that the hubby has joined me on this journey, we are making an effort to use Sunday afternoons to plan our weekly meals and schedule our workouts.
Cooking in Our Kitchen This Week:
- Crockpot Paleo Pork Tenderloin – This will make dinner for the hubs and I plus his parents on Monday, and leftovers will find their way into my lunchbox on Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Crockpot Salsa Chicken – Nothing easier than this meal. Throw a few chicken breasts into the crockpot, top with salsa, and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Once cooked shred for use in wraps or in our case to top salads for quick meals.
- Turkey Burgers
Getting our “Sweat” On:
- Monday: Crossfit
- Tuesday: Crossfit
- Wednesday: Active Rest Day (This means a family walk after dinner and maybe a game or two of chase before our daughter’s bathtime)
- Friday: Run (Hubby and I are trying to get in 1 to 2 run days per week)
- Saturday: Total Rest Day
- Sunday: Run
